New for 2012, the Carve Comp is the entry level bike in the Carve series. Featuring 29" wheels, it is designed to cover singletrack quicker and more efficiently. RockShox front forks offer 80mm of controlled travel and compliment the trail smoothing characteristics of the bike. The perfect start to your new 29" obsession.
We Say:
For XC racing, 29" wheels make a lot of sense. They roll better than 26" wheels and don't fall inbetween little roots and holes, therefor carrying better speed. The Carve Comp benefits from all these attributes to make it a very good value race bike, or a amazing introduction into the world of 29ers.
