As I’m sure you are aware the Government has reduced the VAT rate to 15%.

We have decided to reduce the rate charged for all items on our site to 15% as of Thursday 27th November 2008, so that we can carry on offering the best prices possible.

The reduction of all prices will be by 2.13% because of the way VAT is calculated.

All the prices for items on our site are based on a price without VAT, which is then added on so that you see the total amount you will need to pay.

For example.

1. A £9.99 Item, charged at 17.5% VAT, will include £1.49 Tax and the remaining £8.51is ours to pay for the purchase of it and all the costs that we have.
2. If you then add 15% to that £8.51you get the new price of £9.79.
3. Not exactly the most exciting discount but that’s what the new VAT regime means for all of us.
