2009 Fox Forx
We have just taken delivery of the first batch of the 2009 Fox Forx, as ever they are things of beauty with some small and some big upgrades over last years forks. The two biggest are the introduction of the new QR15 through axel standard and the bar mounted lockout control, along with a much improved Talas III.
QR15 Through Axel
Increased stiffness on the 32 range of forks for the cross country and light all-mountain forks.
Developed with Shimano this new format is designed to give you a far stiffer fork than a standard 9mm quick release based fork, without the weight penalty of a 20mm through axel which have been used on the 36 and 40 range.
These forks will be compatible with hubs produced by Shimano and Hope. In fact Hope have produced a converted for their Pro II hubs so you may not even need to buy new hubs if you already have these.
Remote Lockout
Fox seem to have been working a lot with Shimano this year, as they have also asked them to produce the lever for the new remote lockout that will appear on the 32 F-series forks. It does what it says on the tin really, but with both Shimano and Fox working on it you know its going to work well.
Availability
All the new years 32 range of forks are available now and the rest will be available within the next month so order yours now to be sure to get it as soon as possible.
