We say 'The Burton Malavita Est is simply the best freestyle binding Burton make, and we think it's pretty much the best full stop. Super padded and comfy ankle straps, the best 'capstrap' going, B3 Gel cushioning under the heel and a zero-degree highback make for mega comfort. The highback flexes loads side-to-side but offers enough in terms of outright heelside response too. You get a super sticky 'heel hammock' in the highback, which helps grip the back of your boot, meaning you don't have to crank your straps right up for hold.
The Malavita Est also offers a unique 'Hinged' baseplate, which allows the whole binding to roll better, meaning ollies are more natural and overal comfort is increased. We all love this binding and probably ride it more than anything else.
